It's a short project, not paid.
I've finished Version 0.7 (which will be the first public version) of my Flash game engine, called
FlashPunk (that website is still WIP, mind you), and now that I've just about got the forums looking how I want them, the next step is to write up a tutorial for it.
For this tutorial, I want to walk developers through a step-by-step process of creating a small game with FlashPunk, something that covers all (or at least most of) the faculties of my engine, in the vein of Derek Yu's
Game Maker for Beginners series of tutorials, but a bit shorter and slightly faster-paced.
The selected artist can help me decide on what it will be, but in my mind I'd like to do something similar, like a shmup-type game, or maybe some overhead arcade game like a shooter or something.
Drop me a message here if you're interested! Either that, or feel free to send me an
email alright? The selected artist, once again, I will not be able to pay, but they will be credited both on the engine's website, and in the engine's tutorial code itself.
SUMMARY OF JOB:
- an animated character sprite
- one or two animated enemy sprites
- a repeating background texture
- a small, simple tileset
- a couple effects graphics (bullet, explosion, that sort of thing)
Cheers!
